Arriving from Sydney via Bathurst (phone us on 6365 1231 for help en route) Just before the City of Orange is the village of Lucknow. It is a 50km/hr
zone. Five km or so further on you will be at the outskirts of the city of Orange where you will then encounter a 80km/hr speed restriction sign. One kilometre further on there is a 50km/hr speed restriction sign. Continue on for 500m or so going past the 'Orange Homemaker Centre' on your
left & take the first road on the right after this 50km/hr sign. Proceed onwards along this road (which changes name from Lone Pine Avenue to Wakeford Street) & straight across a 'Stop' controlled intersection with Icely Road. Proceed along this street (Winter Street) to the T junction. The sign in front of you indicates 'Bed & Breakfast 9km' to the right. Turn right at this T junction into Ophir Road. Continue for 3.5km. Here you will see a sign indicating a right hand
turn Take this turn to the right. Continue along this road (Banjo Paterson Way) for a distance of 3.5km. Slow down, continue on a short distance and take the next turn to the right (into Strathnook Lane) which occurs on a slight crest in the road & is signposted 'Cloudgap B&B' From here lookout for Kangaroos!!! Continue slowly to the very end of this road (2.2km) going over the crest of a hill & steeply downwards to a T Junction. Follow the bitumen turning first left at the T Junction and then immediately right through the first entry on the right. If the sliding gate is closed stop and press the red call button on the intercom console Proceed when the gate is fully opened*. Continue to drive slowly (obey speed limit signs & watch out for wildlife) for 400m and you are at Cloudgap. Park in front of the main entrance.
